    What's magic?

hello, sorry, but I do not understand the magic. I studied Basic.aspx example. But I do not see any difference with respect. Net. When I click on a bottun the post back is not known but page load is loaded. manage pageload is a scocciature because I have to provide each individual case if you post back or if it is not and this makes me write much code in ajax not write anything since page load is not called. I have rewritten the example Basic.aspx without Magic Ajax and the result is identical. But if I use Ajax and an update panel, when I click on a button the post is not being called back page but no load.
For example you write "An example of two connected dropdown lists (aka master-detail) without having to write any JavaScript code client." but what is new even before it was so? just use the SelectedIndexChanged event!
